Who can join?

The Royal Canadian Air Cadets is a Canadian national youth program for young individuals aged 12 to 19. Registration at 395 Squadron is available for Canadian citizens or a lawful residents of Canada who do not belong to another cadet corps or squadron, and are medically, physically and psychologically fit to join Cadets and participate in related training and/or activities.

What is the registration fee to join the cadet program?

There is no registration fee to join 395 Squadron. Uniforms are provided free of charge but must be returned once the cadet leaves the program. Until cadets are issued a uniform they wear black dress pants and a white dress shirt.

Cadets and Guardians are asked to participate in fundraising activities which allow the unit to participate in the various activities.

How do I join 395 Squadron?

Below we have all of the paperwork available in electronic form, so please feel free to fill in these forms, and email them to 395air@cadets.gc.ca

  1. Complete the online registration form indicated above.

  2. Bring the applicant’s Provincial Healthcare Card

  3. Bring ONE of:

    • Valid Canadian Birth Certificate (not baptismal certificate),

    • valid Canadian Passport,

    • Valid Resident Card,

    • Valid identification issued by a Canadian provincial or federal government agency.

    • If you do not have any of the above documentation, please speak to the administrative office who may provide you with alternatives.

Upon completion of your paperwork, and confirmation email/discussion/phone call you will have officially joined 395 Edmonton Royal Canadian Air Cadets!
